Located 12 miles from Portland, ME, and 10 miles from the coast, Broadturn Farm's convenient proximity to I-95 and Boston can bring your loved ones closer together for a picturesque New England experience.
Vision and Mission
Our approach is guided by a commitment to sustainability, community, and thoughtful stewardship of the land. We collaborate with you to create an event that reflects what matters most, while honoring both the agricultural traditions that came before us and the future we hope to cultivate.
Starting in 2019, we instituted a ZERO PLASTIC WASTE policy for our events. This means no single use plastics including plastic straws or cocktail stirrers, bottled water, plastic cups or serving ware. We are happy to help you plan an event that has limited waste so that together we can uphold our responsibility to the environment.
Also, you can inquire about out flower donation program where we extend the bounty of your floral arrangements to organizations near and dear to our hearts!
Our season for event hosting runs from mid-May through early-October.

Amenities & Offerings
Most events at Broadturn Farm, especially weddings, are hosted as weekend rentals. Wedding rentals include access to the property from Friday at 3 PM through Sunday at 4 PM, allowing time for setup, celebration, and cleanup. We also welcome other gatheringsâsuch as birthday parties, nonprofit events, baby showers, and bridal showersâand rental timing may vary depending on the nature of the event. In keeping with the Scarborough Good Neighbors Ordinance, all festivities must conclude by 10 PM.
A Broadturn Farm rental includes:
- Space for up to 210 guests under a tent outdoors (tent not included)
- A 30x30 antique barn that can be used for a ceremony, cocktail hour, or dancing
- A small cabin that can be used as a getting ready space
- On-site parking with a parking attendant to guide guests
- Indoor and outdoor ceremony sites
- 8-foot wooden ceremony benches seating up to 150 guests
- 8-foot wooden farm tables and chairs seating up to 150 guests
- Café lighting throughout the barn and reception space
- Ample electricity in the barn for catering, bands, and sound systems
- On-site guidance for your vendors during arrival and setup
- Fire pit and expansive outdoor gathering space
- Air-conditioned restroom building with three stalls, including ADA accessibility
- Acres of flower fields and scenic backdrops for photos
- Full access for setup and cleanup throughout the weekend
Please note: We do not offer any overnight accommodations or camping. Rental of the farm for an event does not include tents, linens, or dinnerware. We are happy to provide you with vendor referrals.
