Your wedding will reflect your value of local businesses, healthy ecosystems, and delicious food, with a minimum of mainstream commercialism. We are committed to helping you create an event that meets your needs and your vision.
Located 12 miles from Portland, ME, and 10 miles from the coast, convenient to I-95 and Boston, Broadturn Farm partners with local purveyors to ensure the menu you choose for your wedding reception honors the tradition of Maine foods. The flowers from our fields are grown organically, require no shipping and beautify every table at the wedding.

We work with you to ensure that your celebration is a reflection of your love, your life, and your values. The farm is at once a vision of our shared heritage and a proposal of a sustainable future. The food which we raise is a fundamental unifier. The beauty is universal. A farm wedding is beautiful, meaningful and memorable.
Farm rental is $1750.
Dates unavailable for 2010: July 3rd, 10th, 17th, 31st, August 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.
Dates available for 2010 include: July 24th and all of September, including Labor Day Weekend.

 Flowers:
Broadturn Farm grows a wide variety of certified organic cut flowers in our garden and we offer our flowers and design service to you. If you are planning to have flowers at your wedding, it is our preference that you either use our flowers or flowers from another local farm. We strongly discourage the use of shipped or imported flowers at the farm. You don't have to be getting married here at the farm to have our flowers grace the tables at your event. Consider hiring Broadturn Farm for all your seasonal floral needs even if you decide to use another venue..
Catering:
You are welcome to choose your own caterer, or no caterer at all. If you want some ideas, we have worked in the past with Aurora Provisions and Belle Fete Group. They are both committed to creating a menu for your wedding that reflects seasonal, local ingredients, including those coming from the Maine coast. Both companies ensure that Broadturn Farm ingredients are used and they will source other local and organic ingredient to complete the menu. Hiring either of these caterers supports our local food community.
